La Leche League is an international organization founded for the purpose of giving information, support and encouragement to those who are interested in breastfeeding. 

Breastfeeding is natural, but it does not always come naturally.  La Leche League of Rockaway helps families by:

• Providing free meetings led by volunteer Leaders who are experienced with breastfeeding/chest feeding, human milk feeding and pumping and are accredited by La Leche League International. Babies and children are welcome at all meetings.
• Offering support via email and phone between meetings for breastfeeding challenges, such as positioning and latch, being sure your baby is getting enough milk, soreness, pumping and milk storage.
• Helping parents learn about the ages and stages of breastfeeding.
• Crea​ting a community of support by bringing breastfeeding families together.

All are invited to attend our night meeting 4/16/25 at 6 PM on Zoom or in person at the Rockaway Twp, Library 61 Mt Hope Rd Rockway NJ (lower meeting room). Children are also welcome.
