La Leche League is an international organization founded for the purpose of giving information, support and encouragement to those who are interested in breastfeeding. 

Breastfeeding is natural, but it does not always come naturally.  La Leche League of Rockaway helps families by:

• Providing free meetings led by volunteer Leaders who are experienced with breastfeeding/chest feeding, human milk feeding and pumping and are accredited by La Leche League International. Babies and children are welcome at all meetings.​

All are invited to join us at our first Friday morning meeting 2/6/26 at 10:30-12 PM online on Google Meet or in person at the Rockaway Boro Library 82 E Main St Rockaway NJ 07866. Please come with your questions and concerns. Children are always welcome.

  Ask questions and Share experiences
  Get encouragement
  Learn more about breastfeeding
  We talk about latching, supply, pumping, night feeds, returning to work, foods to eat, weaning, toddler concerns and more topics guided by your questions and needs. Babies, children, and support people are always welcome.

We are hosting four (2 in-person and 2 online)  meetings every month. (First Friday at 10:30 AM at the Rockaway Boro Library 82 E Main St Rockaway NJ and Second Saturday at 10 AM at the Rockaway Twp Library 61 Mt Hope Rd Rockaway NJ.)
